Welcome to the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at VSB Engineering College. Established in 2002, we empower students to explore, create, and engineer the future.
Get StartedThe Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the Year 2002. The department has well-equipped state-of-the-art laboratories including Circuits and Devices Lab, Analog and Digital Circuits Lab, Circuits Design and Simulation Lab, Linear Integrated Circuits Lab, Communication Systems Lab, Communication Networks Lab, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab, VLSI Design Lab, Advanced Communication Lab, and Embedded Lab.
We boast highly educated faculty members with vast experience in academics and industry. With a symbiosis between our placement cell and the department, students achieve the best jobs for their careers. Exposure and training are provided for advanced studies, guest lectures, and mock campus interviews.
Industrial visits are organized frequently to organizations such as JVS Electronics, Embuzz Technologies, HAL Museum, and ISRO to provide practical engineering exposure.
To produce academically excellent and socially responsible engineers in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Established in 2002 with 60 seats. Due to high demand and quality education, intake increased to 120 in 2006, 180 in 2012, and 240 in 2023.
Postgraduate program started in 2011 with an intake of 18 seats to facilitate research and core industry alignment.
